HI all

Bought a set of hella rallye 2000's for my double cab recently but a few friends are saying that i might get into trouble with cops by mounting them on my front bumper.

Does anybody know the actual rule under our books for auxiliary lighting?

The rallyes are supposed to be 9.5inches in diameter so the coppers would notice them for sure and they didn't come with covers.

The weird thing is that i've seen plenty of vehicles running around town with big lights and m inus the covers without issues...

appreciate any input

cheers

If I'm not mistaken the law states that aux lighting shouldn't be above the line of the headlights. If above they have to be covered. If on the bumper in line with the headlights, it's fine.

Ah good :) This mean I can mount the two lights I have on the bumper. Either way they have covers so it be cool I guess.
